Students in Years 7 and 8 have one hour of Drama per week in which they enjoy challenging and highly practical activities helping them to explore the subject and develop their skills. Students in Year 9 take the highly popular Arts Award which allows them to specialize in various areas of the Arts and follow their own particular interests.

In Years 10 students can opt to take GCSE Drama (AQA) which is a highly enjoyable and demanding course. We also offer the BTEC Acting course which is a ‘hands on’, practical and vocationally based option for students. .

In the Sixth Form students can take A Level Drama and Theatre Studies (Edexcel) in which they will deepen their understanding of theatre through the study of carefully selected texts and challenging practical pieces.
