Students in Years 7, 8 and 9 have one hour of Dance per week.  Students in Year 9 can opt to take the Arts Award which allows them to specialize

In Years 10 and 11 students can opt to take BTEC Dance First Certificate (Edexcel).  This is equivalent to two GCSEs.  Grades available are Pass (C grade equivalent), Merit (B grade equivalent) or Distinction (A grade equivalent). 

In the Sixth Form students can take the Edexcel Applied Performing Arts (Dance) qualification which gives students the opportunity to create, perform and appreciate performance events using their skills I dance.
